Some more old one hit wonders from my wonder years.
Rhythm of Life by the Four Seasons. It was a very popular song covered by many artists, including the Muppets.
Seven Tears by the goomday dance band.
Slip Slidin Away by Paul Simon.
Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple.
Streets of London by Ralph McTell

Winter is coming for the southern hemisphere, so Chill Man :)

All quiet on the western front so I will stir things up a bit.
Here is one from ABBA, I thought the blonde one was gorgeous.
Winner takes it all
The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot (not to be confused by his pickpocket cousin Gordon Lightfinger :))
Those were the days by Mary Hopkins.
Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield (look to the side and get the full album). It was the theme music to the movie The Exorcist.
The theme to Twinpeaks, a popular series years ago.

That is all for now, enjoy life.

i actually looked up the lyric of you national anthem a while back. what a wonderful notion that a song about a ghost that lives in a pond, and it's longings should be so loved as to become your national anthem.
if you could read my mind

Well, OK, Bruce. I will try to keep them coming but it all depends on what musical taste people have!!!

Here is some more stuff I like:

LIZ PHAIR - Why Can't I?

LIZ PHAIR - Rocket Boy

LIZ PHAIR - Polyester Bride

LIZ PHAIR - Hot White Cum(suggestive/explicit)

Love the last one. Men have always been up front expressing their sexual desire, but when a woman does it, it is somehow frowned upon. Great song.

NEIL DIAMOND - Beautiful Noise

ICEHOUSE - Electric Blue

Some of my favorites are music themes from movies. The combination of visuals and soundtrack can be powerful.

Hans Zimmer - Time

Promentary - The Last of the Mohicans ( graphic )

And of course the theme to Sunshine
And "Mercury" from the same movie, short but sweet.

While on the sun theme, this from NASA, filtered live action of the suns surface set to a nice tune. Makes you feel small. Link

OK, how about an Aussie classic?
(apologies to those who hate the term "Aussie", but we "Kiwi's" just can't help ourselves!)

SLIM DUSTY - A Pub With No Beer

This is not a video, per-se', more just the original music with slideshow, but it will be what many of us grew up with on the radio....

I have an original vynal record of this, which I have recorded into MP3, COMPLETE with all the record static. I did not filter the static out at all, as it seemed to give the recording more authenticity like that, for the purposes of broadcast....(I am licensed)

YANNI - Aria

Parts of this used in the British Airways ad, but the song is beautiful.

YANNI - Marching Season

This has an amazing drum solo. Charlie Adams on the drums. Prepare yourself....

THE CORRS(and Mick Fleetwood) - Toss The Feathers

Awesome turned up LOUD!Edited by Grogster 2014-06-05

I like it! Nice song, a good voice, excellent scenario and good interpretation (especially from him, she needs to work a little, but overall very good).

There are moments when I like (no, I need) some Chinese music, even if I don't understand a thing. I didn't followed this thread as it should, so I don't know if this song was posted:
