Hi guys. Thanks for letting me be part of the forum and hello to everyone. I am as new as I could be here, but I hope you allow me to say: Boy, this is an old mans place So I will fit quite well, I think: I´m here because for some time I followed anything Colour Maximite. When I was a kid I desperately tried to program my own games on my C64, but I never get any fun out of assembler. But I did find the perfect environment for my programming skills with AMOS on my Amiga later. So much fun. And the Colour Maximite 2 instantly reminds me of that: MM Basic, it´s technical features... I can´t wait to get it in my hands. I´m sure I will have several questions I will be able to discuss here and I hope I can contribute to the community in the near future. Hi, I'm new here too, I found this site recently while looking for more information on the Color Maximite 2, and it looks like it has all sorts of other things that I am interested in as well. Here's a picture of me taken at the start of the year.  About me: I started down this rabbit hole in the early 80's with a Dick Smith System-80 (PMC-80). A friend introduced me to modifying it, including adding a Don-Mon, building our own RS232 ports, Double Density adapters etc. Basic programming, assembler programming, which led to my first job. Since then I've always liked to tinker with electronics, but software is my main speciality. Looking forward to having fun and tinkering with my CMM2. Hello, I'm Chris. I just took the plunge and purchased a CMM2, in no small part due to the 8bitguy video. It'll probably take a few weeks before it arrives. I really like the idea of a machine where basic doesn't need to be compiled but it acts as if it is - and then some. I also like the constraints of the platform too.
