Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hows that ol saying go

"just cos I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they are not following me!"

I'm sure that nice Officer Dibble was being helpful and civic minded.
I'm confused, no wait... maybe I'm not...

I spoke to person in the Bank and did not manage to get answer to questions:

How safe from electronic theft is my card in the pocket?
Would Al foil stop theft?
Is it better to buy one of those fancy metal lined wallets?

Reply was (several times the same one)
that my funds are safe and any unauthorised transaction would be reimbursed in full.

Manager of the Branch was not available, so I left.

Al foil is tempting as minimum protection.
Will have to get some of this Heavy Duty one, so it lasts longer.

Actually I might try to make transaction with card with Al foil on side of the reader and if it fails to stop transaction to go ahead, next experiment would be card in Al pocket.

Should this fail, suppose piece of metal sheet or even Lead sheet.
Have somewhere bit of Lead stuff used in buildings to stop rising dump.
Pity it is so heavy.

Did anybody try something like that already?
George
