Experimenting
I like trying 'off-the-wall' stuff, just because. Oz'll back me up on that, I'm sure. Today I tried two new menu items: Smoked Oysters and Sardines. two items I'd never, ever tried so I figured, why not?.
The oysters were delicious. The sardines were . . .
Did I mention how enjoyable the smoked oysters were?

Mac,
It sounds as though you have been banished to the shed and are living on rations
I do think some sardines are very nice and other brands are very poor.
It would be more "off the shelf" then off the wall or you are storing your food wrong
Go easy on the oysters, as apparently they can make you horny
Pete. Sometimes it just works |

Haven't been down that pathway for years; no worries. My pending divorce may change that, but I doubt it. The really sick part is, I'd rather spend my time building stuff in my shop!

Hi Amack
Try mashing them with fine chopped onions and a bit of garlic, while the anchor is away that is.
You wont get anything but they taste good.
All the best
Bob
