Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

OK, I will reserve one for you also. There are now only three left. I will be building them up over the weekend - I have all the bits, but still waiting on the 340 USB chips, so until they arrive, I can't send any out, but I will keep posting updates here on this thread to keep everything in one place. The CMM2 pages on my website are in limbo(not published), but I can re-enable them with the click of a mouse. I will do that when I have them ready to ship, but I will only list three available as two have been gobbled up so far already. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

I also sent a message on your website - Ben Holmes. Hope I didn't get counted twice! Let me know if I can just prepay it, and wait... be happy to do so. |

@ Khadaji - Ahhh! I wondered if that was you, now I know. Just counted once. Let me know if you want case+front/rear panels, or just the assembled board. @ Bill - If you like. I will be offering without case or with case, just as before the planet went mad with the virus. Cheapest option is just the board. Adding the case and front/rear panels adds about another $20 or so, but I need to look at what I was charging before the virus, and work out if that has changed. The price from JLC to build them was pretty good, so I am hopeful the price will not be any higher then it was before, but I will confirm that here and on my website in due course. Unless you really want to build your own case, I would highly recommend getting it with the case. The PCB is so light, getting the SD card in and out requires grabbing hold of the unit. The case makes that much easier (and can be velcroed in place for one handed operation). |

Yes, definitely with full case. Don't have a 3D printer, and wouldn't have enough things to print if I did buy one. |

Grogster, if you still have any unclaimed units, I would like to claim one with a case. -Bill |

OK, Bill, so noted. Two now remain - probably won't re-enable the website sales at this point! Progress shot: Just waiting on the 340 USB chips for the console, and the double-vertical USB sockets, which should both be here this week, based on tracking. Smoke makes things work. Update: Almost ready to go! All programmed, tested, extra connectors etc now fitted - just need the cases, which I hope to get tomorrow. I still have five sets of front/rear panels for the G2, but I will have to order some more. Price will be pretty much the same as before the virus, give or take about ten bucks. US$135.00 for the assembled, tested, programmed board including tracked shipping US$140.30 for the same as above, but adding the front/rear case panels US$157.76 for the same as the first option, but including case and panels. Those of you who wanted one, if still interested, please flick me a PM, and I will send you a PayPal invoice. The CMM2 is NOT yet re-published on my website, cos I want to sort out any/all orders from the forum before I do that. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Just a quick update for those of you who have ordered one of these - I am just waiting on the cases. They were out of stock, but I expect them this week, so those who have ordered a unit, can expect an email from me this week - I hope - to say your unit has been sent. Sorry for the delay - it seems some things are still out of stock post COVID! Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
