The Bunnings wicks are a bit bulky. I might try re-lacing one with a bit less cotton. I did use a vacuum cleaner to suck a bit of air movement and the wet bulb dropped enough to reduce the Rh by 10% as expected. To measure soil moisture, the resistance of plaster-of-paris between a couple of metal plates 1cm apart is not bad. Jim VK7JH MMedit MMBasic Help |

Not sure how accurate it is to measure the air humidity through measuring the soil humidity. But maybe that can be done also. Thanks for the suggestion.
