I have some F&P motors that I want to sell. These are from assorted dead F&P washing machines. I will sell them for $25 plus P&H. Let me know what you are after. |

Hey grub. Could you add your contact number or email here. I've had a couple of guys respond but they arn't forum members and dont know how to contact you. Thats a good price for your F&P motors. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

Just so that you all know, these motors weigh just under 8kg and posting this much weight overseas isn't viable in my opinion. Postage to the REST OF THE WORLD (Australia post description) is roughly $80 for sea mail (3-6 months delivery time) and $170 for off rate air mail. Plus I am not sure of import duties and other government parasite charges that may be payable. Sorry but will post only within Australia, not overseas. |

It seems there isn't anyone in the US who has a decent supply of used F&P' motors at a decent price. I have talked to everyone including F&P service/repair men. Any ideas? |

Hi all, Thanks for the replies. Randy's Workshop seems a little expensive. I can buy a used F&P washing machine for $200 bucks locally. I was just looking to find some at Aussy prices or close to it. F&P's are catching on around here but it will be some time before a nice supply of used motors will be available I guess. |

You may also look into L&G Washing machines, they have permanent magnet "smart drive" motors. |

In the need for financing some of my windpower R&D I have listed a F&P Smartdrive motor on eBay. The eBay item number is 160234532718 It is from a Smartdrive 085 machine and in very good condition. WNDR is 6. Year 1998. best regards Faust |

Yes, I fell in love with these F&P motors and bought some from EccoInovation and had them shipped to me here in the U.S. I thought it was a good idea at the time. The shipping alone cost me $1750 USD plus duty tax. That's why my prices may seem a little high because I would like to at least break even. Over the past two years I have sold quite a few and have many happy customers, and now there are only twelve motors left. Let me know if you want one. Yes, overseas postage is an issue indeed. A single F&P plus shaft to Canada/USA is already A$115 for airmail and A$70 seamail. Still, relative to the cost for a 300Watts generator it is quite OK. Faust |
