Hi,

Some of our members found that they had to chuck out their satellite TV decoders as the gov. in its wisdom decided to give us a different system, so we had to buy new so-called VAST receivers. The advantage is 1080i reception and as a loss, the loss of Al Jazeera.

I hate throwing out this old decoder or using it as a door stop or boat anchor, so I would like to ask if there is anything useful electronically inside those things.
