just seen the new silly chip mag and they have a mppt solar regulator circuit aimed at campers/mobile home owners with engel fridges for 12/24 volt systems up to 120w @12v,so can this be tweaked for more amps by adding more mosfets and heatsinking?

G'day Matt,
The sillychip article last year on the solar night light has the circuit and after I complained about no code they put the source code up on their website. Basically that circuit beefed up with a bigger fet and inductor and modifying the code will be good enough for any mppt diy build.

hi Bryan
just checked the s/chip mag again at the shop and the regulator has one of those pic chips so unless someone brings out a kit that puts me out as i dont know how to program pics that they insist on using in alot of there projects

Hi, is there a link? I would to check the circuit.
just because your a GURU or forum administer does not mean your always correct :)
