He he, it can be recompiled for Linux but you must remove the "visual" part - eventually, an e-mail interactivity can be added. Anyway, it can run JeeMon, a nice logging application written in TCL/TK. This board can have a network board attached and a serial port and also can write on a SD card, read sensors, etc... it is just another Single Board Computer but with a well known processor.
