Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi,
Have any of you experimented with John Bedini's radiant energy battery chargers? Supposed to rapidly strip the sulphate off battery plates - rejuvenating them, even ones that have been used for door stops for years.
The Bedini version needs a lot of coil winding however there is now an easier way go to -> http://imhotepslabs.freeforums.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6
for info on re-arranging the coils inside a standard computer cooling fans. It uses one 12v battery to drive two coils in the fan via a 2N3055 (these little fans have embeded magnets in the rotor just like F&P rotors) and "harvest" the back EMF + radiant energy off the other two coils. Imhotep has lots of YouTube videos showing you how to do the modifications. It is a bit fiddly unsoldering and removing the ends of the coils off the terminal pins. I have attached a file of Imhotep's circuit, check out his web site because there were a couple of variations and I am not sure if I have the latest one. As soon as I "found" his site I was wondering if a reconfigured F&P might work even better than a tiny computer fan coil set up. As with the Bedini motors it is not self starting, needs a manual spin up but will continue to run OK after that.
