Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Does anyone know the name of this micro tactile switch or where I can buy or aquire one other than buying new Type-C lcd display board with for around GB £50?
I'm happy to desolder one if anyone even knows where to get any 2nd hand or broken board with this type switch but ideally I'd like to buy a similar one new
the dimensions of the white plastic bit are appx 4.5mm X 1.9mm

At first glance I thought there was heaps of them, then find nothing with those dimensions.
There might be something close to that size, the side buttons on Mobile phones? haven't taken one apart to be sure.

I found this one on the side of an pcb from a Samsung/Horizon remote.

3.15 mm x 6.2 mm with solder contacts, the switch body is 4.25 mm.

Brilliant
Do you happen to have a pcb reference number so I can try and locate one to "pinch" that switch from?

I think it is easier that I send the part with the switch by normal mail. Cost me only €1.80 to the UK. Se me a PM with your address.

Lew,

Could you salvage the switch from the board I sent to you?

Marcel
