Hello all. I'm trying to find some replacement MOSFETS for a PSU board whose existing transistors have gone short-circuit. It's the PSU board from a Panasonic SA-MAX770PU high-power stereo system F35W60C3, made by Shindengen. Element14 don't know about them, DigiKey don't know about them. Mouser DOES know about them, but they have no stock and they are obsolete. The official Shindengen website/webstore obviously knows about them(it's their product!), but they list as not available and obsolete. There seems to be plenty on AliExpress or ebay, but I am loathe to use anything from those sites, as more often then not when it comes to discretes, they are bad clones or outright fakes. Anyone know of any other places I could look? Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Those mosfets don't look anything special by todays standards, If a TO-247 case size will fit, then it will be much easier to get a generic 650V 75-100A standard mosfet with < 80mR on resistance, which are available for a about $10 each. Look on LCSC Cheers Mike |

The sparse datasheet for these, states the package as MTO-3P, which might just be another way of saying TO-247, as they look about the same size. f35w60c3.pdf It would be ideal, if I could use a generic replacement, as I REALLY don't want to gamble with the AE or ebay parts for obvious reasons. I've been linked to another MOSFET by the same company, but it has better specs, higher current ability, and lower RdsON figures, so these seem to be the front-runner candidate at the moment! F47W60C3 MOSFET Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
