Hi all
With the help of the forum I have managed to build myself a f&p wind generator
Now i have got it up on a test tower I was wondering about connection to the battery bank. (6 2v forklift batteries in series)

I need advice in terms of fuses, meters, shunt regulators, dump loads etc

do I go straight to the battery bank?

is their a suitable dump load I can use without rewiring or modifying?

What size amp meter would I need and where can I purchase one?

Any help would be appreciated

Pictures mitchie... pictures... please feed the wind nuts.

I can't help on the specifics as I don't have a F&P in service.I assume you mean 6 x 2v = 12v battery.

6 battery cells, 6 months later and no photos.

This is the button you use to upload a picture.

usually a .jpg and <500kB size.

Camera photos need to be usually made smaller.

Hope this helps speed the process.

Gordon.
