I picked up this little 240v induction motor from the scrap yard and was wondering if it had potential. Keep in mind I'm only looking for 2amps plus @ 12v.

Output : 16.5/20w @200v-50/60Hz CAP 1.0/450

Identifying marks:
SUNG SHIN - KOREA
IC-9420G2KG7a
D.C.C Part No PMO01AG115
Seems to be a solid little beasty

If it has, what would be the best way to rebuild it - number/size/type of magnets to use on the armature etc. Wire size?

It has 24 poles wired with a very fine copper wire - which I'm prepared to rewire with a thicker wire - maybe .6mm or .8mm wire. The armature is quite small with a diameter of just 55mm, width 25mm. Shaft size is 10mm.

Any suggestions?
