chris it has got 12 blades that are 24 inches long pluse the hub in the center is 8 inches have sold 4 in town here most of them are for pond air

Do you put a generator on them at all? They would have some potential for some nice power, not huge power but you could make some use of it if you attached a F&P to it... |

we mounted a truck pankaed to pump air to the pool made a small crankshaft to run the rod up to the pump put check valves in line got plenty air pressure about 40 lbs our lake is about 20 feet deep keeps the lake frome freezeing lloyd l arthur |

Hi Arthur Thats a fine looking machine. Lots of blades makes lots of torque. And 40psi is proof that it works. Its interresting to find out about using air to stop the pond freezing. I live in the tropics and have the opposite problem, water getting to hot. I have a pond with gold fish and the mid day sun heats the water to the point that the fish die. well we use the air to airate the pond in the summer it helps it in a lot of ways moss ; scum ; keeps the water a lot cleaner than when it is not running it gets hot here in the great state of illinois so it runs winter and summer have got some pic showing the ice hole about 15 feet across lloyd l arthur |
