I found a windmill made in China. It is rated at 450 Watts and has a rotor diameter of 1.4 Meters. It's generator is a NeFeB Magnet rotor and wild three phase output. I looks like a well built machine. I thought I should inform everyone about this. I am solarmike |

I like the blades. These China made wind generators are getting very cheap. I wonder how long they would last. A lot of the China stuff wont last long, we all know that. But its usually well engineered. Its like those cheap miniature motor bikes they sell for a few hundred dollars. They dont last, but its only the cheap bearings or other parts that fail, other than that they are well made. I've heard if you buy one of those bikes, pull it apart and replace the bearings, they last for ages. And the bearings are common types, nothing fancy. Maybe the windmills are the same. If they have a reliability problem I'll bet it due to a couple of cheap bearings. Looking at it from the photos, it appears to be well engineered.
