I ordered four different standard sized 100 x 100mm boards from China just before TSHTF.

Order placed Thursday 23 Jan. Normal Quoted delivery time 3-4 days.

Was advised by JCL that boards had been completed and sent to DHL and tracking number received Sunday 2 Jan (ten days later)

DHL sent me the usual "your package is on its way" e-mail Thursday 6 Jan.

Expected delivery date (Melbourne) 12 Jan.
The system has slowed, but it is still working.

Cheers,  Tony.

Yes, I am just about to order some more PCB's for another one of my projects, but my go-to PCB house(PCB GoGo) are also closed cos of the virus thing.  They say they will be back up and running again by the 10th, so that should give me the weekend to triple-check I have the layout correct.

With respect to my other thread that you responded to, I guess the super-powers will be absolutely delighted that Trump has been acquitted.....

I believe officially, that Chinese new year ends and its back to work on Monday the 10th for all normal business and most workers in China.

Some businesses work 24 hours 7 days, regardless of public holidays such as JCL and DHL.

No doubt things will speed up after next Monday. Only then will we know for sure if China's manufacturing industry is truly broken or not.
Cheers,  Tony.

My gerbers were sent at 02-02, and 15-02 they were finished to sent. Still no message they were sent. I hope the people are doing fine over there.

My boards are with the local delivery agent, so says DHL tracking, so should be here today or tomorrow.
It DID take PCB GoGo longer then usual to make my boards, but I was fully expecting that, as they would be about two weeks behind with orders, and that would represent thousands and thousands of orders from all over the world that they had to catch up with.

I was still quite impressed that they only took two more days then usual to do them.

Can anyone tell me if JCL can gold plate an entire side of a pcb?  I am thinking of converting the case of a TI-92 into a micromite-100 and want to use existing keys so I need to make a PcB with key pads on one side for the keys to press onto.  The keypads need to be gold plated.
Persistence is the key

Why not ask them directly? They were very helpful on their chat feature when I had a Gerber file related problem.

JCL can do gold plated edge connectors, so should be able to gold plate a whole board.

Anything "non standard" comes at a premium cost though.

I ordered a fairly ordinary four layer board, nothing too fancy, about 120mm x 120mm I think it was. That required an additional engineering fee which pushed the price up to over eighty dollars for five boards.
