Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi, Im trying to learn how to run sample programs from Silicon Chip mag. The artical from Geoff Graham seems to me that he assumes that you know how to run a program from start to finish. For me as a beginner, it is very frustrating as I dont know what to expect. Im needing someone to show me step by step to get the program up and running. I have read all the manuals, am I missing something? Help!
Kevin.

Welcome - A good way to getting a introduction to Basic Programming could be to look at some of the tutorials available for Liberty Basic then read between the lines of what is available in the instruction set of MMBasic. For Example don't try programming a windows application as available in LB on a MaxiMite just look at the basics.

You should also download a copy of the Microsoft_GW_Basic_Manual which found on the net as a 839KB PDF but when I try uploading I get following error so send my your email address & I'll email it to you tried attaching as a pdf I've attached
