Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I was looking for a 2.2" display and bought one of these  Display
On a MM backpack it sits a bit offset but all I get is the backlight.
Can any one point me to a 2.2" display that works.

It isn't clear what chip is on the display.

All I can suggest is look for one that only shows ILI9341.

The photo in the add shows a regulator U1  with a bypass jumper J1.
Check that you have 5V in and 3.3V out if J1 is open. If your supply is 3.3v bridge J1.

If you are powering VCC at 3.3V you should bridge J1 to bypass the regulator. It appears to be one that should  work. Did you try GUI TEST LCDPANEL to verify it does not have just have colours inverted.

Running at 5v. I took the 2.4" screen off a working project and when I connected this one all I get is a back light. Didn't do a GUI test touch, I'll do it tomorrow.

Yes I meant LCDPANEL, I know it doesn't have touch.
