Odd.
Recompiling and running pico program on pico2... same program runs at about half the speed.
Default clock rates etc.  [ not MMBasic ]

Any advice ?

I take Peter's builds "as is". I never build an image myself.

Altering optimization bought it back. I am guessing, maybe an older library used optimized routines (?), anyway it is OK. (phew   )
