I found an orignial Windoze 95B install CD today, and found the classic videos that MS included as a way to demonstrate how great W95 would be at doing video etc.

For copyright reasons, I won't link the actual files, but here are the two music videos that most will remember from this distro:

Edie Brickell - Good Times

I remember being somewhat in love with Edie back then!
Her other popular song was "What I Am"

And not forgetting the classic Wheezer song that was also included:

Wheezer - Buddy Holly

Both of these video links to YouTube, have FAR superior video and sound quality compared to the horrible(by today's standards!) video codec used on the W95 CD, but still....this brings back memories!

Oh, love those! Edie was gorgeous - and as Mrs Paul Simon she's still a very attractive and talented lady. :)

It's a pity Windows hasn't matured as nicely...

Edie Brickell - What I Am

This one was NOT on the W95B CD, but....

Yeah, Edie is something else. :)

For those banjo lovers out there, she also collaborated with Steve Martin on their album "Love Has Come For You".

As for old OSes, check out vetusware.

As soon as you mentioned Banjo, I could not help but link to this:

DELIVERANCE - Dueling Banjos

Not really a Banjo fan, but having said that, THIS......was utter brilliance.

EDIT: Rumour has it, that they hired Ronny Cox, cos he could play the guitar bit here.  Is there any truth to that?

Me neither, my idea of "Perfect Pitch" is when you throw an accordion into a dumpster and it lands on a banjo. :)

As for the song, the actual banjo player (Mike Addis) was sitting behind the actor (Billy Redden) and he was playing with his left hand while Billy Redden played with his right hand (so, one half of a banjo player?). The track that became popular was played by Eric Weissberg and Steve Mandell.

I remembered the first part, about the banjo player behind the actor, but I didn't know that the recording had been done by others.

They are now in the trash, and I have not checked whether the files on the disks are still readable.
