GDay All, The Australian Computer Museum Society have done an interview with Don from Dontronics. It is an interesting listen but it does go for about 1 hour. Didn't know Don had such a history in the early PC's. Very interesting. Its a shame they spent so much time on "who owned the first PC", I would rather have found out more about Don's adventures. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

Hi Glenn, All, Stay tuned for Part 2.  Seriously, I believe the original reason for the interview was because of Don's claim to buying the first PC in Australia. Thanks very much Mick. Hi Glenn. The Podcast was nearly 2 hours in total, but I can understand the need to edit a lot of it out. Here is what Riley, the curator of ACMS said about the interview that he conducted: "One interesting thing about "non-live" podcasting is the ability to remove umms, ahhs, and-umms, you-knows, and other disfluencies. I can sometimes spot them by sight in the wave forms nowadays. So we all do it. Some more than others. I do leave a few in to maintain realism but take most out. I umm and ahhh A LOT. More than most for example. But most interesting is when people don't do it. Interviewees seem to get into "hyper-focus" for short periods of time and the disfluencies just drop away. You have these hyper-focus moments. It makes editing a treat! Haha. I think you have the record, which is about 1.5 mins without a disfluency."
