Ahh me again, of course I first looked into the manual, but it states only: Specifies which pins are to be used as Count inputs. By default these are GP6, GP7, GP8 and GP9. The SETPIN command defines the Counter mode. This command must be run at the command prompt (not in a program). Problem: I don't have as many Pins left. My project consumes already all pins and GP2 (pin 4) I have reserved for this job. Why I am forced to enter 4 Pins? I lerned from another topic that it is possible to leave them "blank" like: OPTION COUNT , , ,GP2 but then I get an SYNTAX ERROR... I am afraid by just taking "random" Pins (which are already used by my program) I am introducing other conflicts or errors. I just need one Pin as a Counting, and that's GP2, is that possible? Just specify any pins. If you don't use them as count pins it is completely benign. |
