Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

IIRC the earlier version was discussed some time ago.

I think it was originally announced in February, but I don't think there was any python support at that time, so maybe that part is new. :)

Not sure about asking this but could the pico W plugged into one of Mixtel's
VGA board make use of bluetooth keyboards.

I don't think the Webmite supports Bluetooth does it? The Pico W probably could, but you would need to sort out drivers etc. - and probably run Circuit Python on it.

Ya missed what I was getting at. Can there be a PicoVGA-BT no web just the
bluetooth for keyboard and sound. Far easier to get keyboard and speakers for.

Also a PicomiteBT with the bluetooth so LCD and keyboard would make for a
system that could be used to do coding at the park or coffee shop.
A nice portable unit with a USB power bank.

 was just asking is all.

As the built-in bluetooth on the Pico W isn't supported by MMBasic then it would have to be done with modules. A bluetooth to TTL adapter would get a keyboard input. Dunno about sound - there will be audio to bluetooth modules for it, I suppose.

What you probably need for programming is a bluetooth link from a tablet into a COM port of the PicoMite, acting as the console. MMB4W on a laptop is a lot easier. :)

In theory, yes. In practice, no, unless someone writes the code.

I tried. But the simplest examples failed under the Windows IDE, which Peter also uses.
Apparently it can only be successfully compiled on Linux.
I then switched to the Arduino IDE.
I am still convinced of the good performance of Bluetooth with the PICO W.

So I built a Bluetooth Adapter
Bluetooth Adapter by Pico W

Maybe there is an option of a flash memory on its second core used by a second serial connection.
