Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I have three Atmel 89S52 24MHz processors in a tube (apparently NOS) if anyone wants them. Data sheet available Here These are not exactly brilliant by today's standards but may be of historical interest to someone. (from data sheet) • Compatible with MCS-51® Products • 8K Bytes of In-System Programmable (ISP) Flash Memory – Endurance: 1000 Write/Erase Cycles • 4.0V to 5.5V Operating Range • Fully Static Operation: 0 Hz to 33 MHz • Three-level Program Memory Lock • 256 x 8-bit Internal RAM • 32 Programmable I/O Lines • Three 16-bit Timer/Counters • Eight Interrupt Sources • Full Duplex UART Serial Channel • Low-power Idle and Power-down Modes • Interrupt Recovery from Power-down Mode • Watchdog Timer • Dual Data Pointer • Power-off Flag If you are interested PM me - otherwise they go in the bin at weekend. :) No charge for the processors - and I'll throw the tube and antistatic bag in for free too! I don't know what the postage will be, but I'll cover it within the UK. Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

Shame.. I stopped using 8051's way back. As they are 'S' types they can be programmed a lot easier.. Where in Blighty are you? I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous |

I'm close to Preston, Lancashire. They appear to be able to be programmed serially as SPI slaves. I've no idea how I obtained them, they were either given to me in a batch of stuff or I've picked them up for peanuts at a radio rally. I certainly wouldn't have ordered them myself. I'm hardly ever up that way.. Once when I was working at the ferry port. But I'm not far in Oldham.. Having said that, I don't really know what I'd do with them. I normally program Pic's nowadays. I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrous |
