Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Definitely with the PicoMite using PIO - would be much better as no jitter |

nice ! For beautiful laser effects you can also glue a mirror to a loudspeaker and then control it with different frequencies Ron |

I had a gas tube laser and it used 2 stepper motors with mirrors. lasers are cheap and the hardware/mirrors etc. also... but why a raster scan text display? A really cheap vga projector? they actually work.. in a dark room. |

Hi lew, Pretty obvious the mechanics are the challenge. The software, using PIO, looks very doable. Even the time synchronisation between mirrors. Constant speed on the motor is a dual pwm. Picomite can do it. Volhout PicomiteVGA PETSCII ROBOTS |

With 8 cheap lasers and 1 mirror you can make it much easier. Frank |

Note: This style of laser tech was being done in the 1970s |
