I have a copy of MMBasic that runs well on Windows 10 and includes graphics. But I cannot find any web site that offers a download of same. Geoff's site only has the DOS version with no graphics.

I know that Peter built the version with graphics, but for some reason it is very hard to find.

Please help, thanks!

It's never reached release state, I think this is the latest download:

It's not on a Website. It can be found in this thread:

Make sure you start at the last page (currently page 18) and work backward to get the latest version. For some reason, the link changes with each new version rather than have the latest version replace the older ones at the same link.

Thanks all!

It seems really good! I have run several of my 1000+ line programs on it and see no errors. IMHO it's kind of a shame Peter hasn't published it somewhere more easily located. I understand that Picomite stuff is taking up all his time.

Agreed. Also without an official release and manual it's hard to know whether something that doesn't work as you expect is a bug or a feature. A pity that after all that work it appears to have been abandoned.

All of the information to create a manual is on this site but since volunteers for doing slog work are few and far between then it is unlikely to happen. The beta is fully functional and AFAIK pretty much bug free but I am not going to document it so.....

I did actually consider volunteering to do that myself (believe it or not). But I have found that, during my working life and beyond, that documenting my own work, operating procedures, test procedures, configuration details and so on was much more tedious than actually designing and developing the 'product'. That was the fun part. Unfortunately the documentation was a necessary evil though.

Producing documentation for someone else's work, in isolation, even using the CMM2 manual as a base and Mick's notes along with this forum for reference then sorting out any little nuances would be very difficult and even more tedious. If I could speak C and had the source code that would help but I don't.

It's all too hard.

Can we have it in an online editor such as Google docs or online word? We all can collaborate on the same document. I can't collaborate with a full document, however will be great if I can do small contributions

While I might not have put it so passionately, I totally agree Mick. If Doug is going to do it then HE should do it. Others may help by proof-reading or testing and maybe offer suggestions but that is all. It will be hard enough as it is let's not make it harder.

Hi Doug,
If you are using Word then I highly recommend novaPDF as an addon to produce the bookmarks in any PDF file. I asked Geoff what he used when I did the Armmite F4 manual and he told me about it. The latest version (11) can build the bookmarks off the word headings and have links to navigate around the PDF as well. Its not free but not that expensive.

I just loaded the version cited above onto a zippy Dell i7 with 32Gbytes of RAM and a graphics card, and it just sings! Wow.

Looking for the configuration command to change the keyboard from default UK to US...

Now that you mention the very excellent Armmite F4 manual... I have a printed copy in A5 form, two-sided printed and staple-bound. I would really like to bind one up properly but the version that I have is water-marked "DRAFT" and is titled DRAFT 5 - 5.07.00 Beta 15. Is there a possibility of a "release" version with all the highlighted questionable entries re-defined? Gerry, you have put so much work into this document that it seems such a shame not to finish it with a "release" version - unless I missed something.

I have twelve F4 boards on the go, but the thing I never understood about them is why it was decided to stick the options into battery-backed RAM - unlike any other 'mite. If only there was a version that kept the options during a battery change. And yes, I have read the posts on using AA batteries etc. Hey-ho...
