Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Found this last night USB to PS2

A 2040/pico should be able to do this too.

I've seen a photo of it and I refuse to solder it. lol

Well, an RP2040 might be able to do it, but you only have one USB port. It probably needs some C programming or, maybe, python might have some libraries that might help.

from a forum posting almost a year ago:

"... the CH375/CH376 also looks like an option, available on a small PCB for around $5 on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/164195409955
https://www.ebay.com/itm/165027473834
(note: the CH376 may be an updated version of the CH375, and so a better choice)
while the main target is reading USB flash drives, it appears to also produce results from USB keyboards and mouses. it can connect directly to a TTL serial port, and requires to be sent commands and returns packets of data containing keypress information - NOT ASCII codes; some interpretation is required.

Too bad you are all so far away.

There are plenty PS2 keyboards available here in the Netherlands at this company:

Logitech USB keyboard

And trust me: they have plenty in stock.

Call those "keyboards"?
This is a keyboard (schematic). More info.
None of that silly serial malarky. And keys that don't wear out because they have no contacts...  :)
