Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

After the pandemic we found the ATMega328 to be on very long delivery times. Provision of a plug in daughter board and software porting allow us to use the Picomite as an alternative as we were able to bulk buy the Picomite from Cool Components in the UK easily. Daughter Board I/O Board (Relays or Transistor outputs) I/O Board (Relays and Transistor outputs) Populated Boards Boards are opto-isolated 10 in/10 out, supply voltage 12 or 24Vdc,with onboard 5V supply, inputs are either supply voltage or 0V switching allowing use of Zener barriers if required. Daughter boards have all ATMega ports mapped to the Picomite with the exception of TX0 and RX0 which are Picomite only. We also have a daughter board to enable fitting of the Arduino MKR1400 GSM unit. Hope you all found this of interest ? |

That's really nice! The fourth picture intrigues me. What are L1-L10, as they aren't on any of the others? Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

Thanks for that ! We use 20mA Led lamps in positions L1-L10, generally when there is a requirement for both relays and lamps to be utilised eg status lamps on control panel as well as volt free relay contacts on individual outputs. The board gap is to allow easier wiring access. David |

Ah! I was in the control panel business for almost 40 years. That's why I was interested. :) Having a PicoMite rather than a 328 makes this more of a PLC really. At least it has a decent language. ;) (I like the Discworld reference. :) ) Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |
