Hardly surprising. The M33 cores are far more complex than the M0+. There's a lot more going on in there. However, due to the increased performance of the M33 you get a lot more speed for the same, or even lower, CPU speed. The Hazard3 cores are even less able to overclock so tell your friend not to go there or he'll get *really* upset. Perhaps interesting to compare such as power consumption, performance, GPIOs & cost. The RP2350 does well on all those. John |

I prefer the 2350 any time. What we have here with MMBasic is mind blowing. I am particularly impressed with our SETTICK. Provided that we avoid blocking code, the "determinism" out performs Linux CNC RT. My own experiments continue to impress. Edited 2024-08-22 07:39 by PhenixRising |

As far as I can see Peter has not released any firmware that will allow you to over clock by more than 378MHz either the VGA version, or the 'Standard', you just get a message saying:- Error : 400000 is invalid (Valid is 48000 to 378000) So currently you cannot test overclocking above 378MHz |

See this for details. I limit the overvolt to 1.3 which manages 378MHz but won't go higher than that. Even at 1.3 the package is running at over 45C |
