Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Guys I thinks I got scammed by this site. The price is cheap so I should have known better. I purchased EaseUS data recovery software from this site. First of all they do not state anywhere that there is a limit of the number of Gig that can be converted, yet when I ran the program I am told 0.5G. Not that that matters as the program does absolutely nothing of any value. A few MPG and WMV files. Which I don't recall having on my hard drive. I tried to contact them via email but got the usual Your message wasn't delivered to +help@kinguin.net because the address couldn't be found or is unable to receive email. Just thought I would let you guys know to avoid being done like me. Chris K |

Hi Chris, I don’t know anything about that program but I have purchased keys from Kinguin many times in the past with no issue. Go to the site for the Easus data recovery and see what they state in their specs. If it is not what you got I would be pursuing with the Kinguin site or the seller you bought it off to rectify your problem. There must be a contact email or form somewhere. I just Googled "Kinguin", I certainly wouldn't buy from them. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

anything with its own reddit thread is to be regarded very closely... https://www.reddit.com/r/Kinguin/?rdt=54517 and https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments...never_ever_buy_from_kinguin Edited 2024-08-12 07:44 by CaptainBoing |

Hi again I had a look at the email link for the seller again and realised the link had a "+" before the word help. Deleted the plus sign and was able to get through to them. Not very clever checking on their part. Or maybe they don't want to help? They have been in touch with request for screenshots. I will wait for their reply. Still haven't been able to recover data. Annoying. Thanks guys for the info. Chris K |
