Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

This idea was sparked off by a comment from Vegipete. Cases were being discussed and he came up with this in this post. ( AliExpress link ). I thought, why not? I incorporated the RP2040-Zero USB-PS2 converter this time, purely because I wanted the space that's available underneath it. This is the one suggested by Hawk in this post. It's possible to use a second PCB in the top slot of the case, but you have to be careful because of component heights. I've come up with a design that duplicates the GPIO port using a second RP2040-Zero connected via the system I2C bus. That takes up the front half of the PCB. I don't have a use for the rear half yet, but height is very restricted. Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |
