I use a small USB keyboard where the keys share characters and numbers.
NUMLOCK is active by default. If I understand the manual correctly, I should be able to change this permanently with "OPTION KEYBOARD GR,0,0".
However, when I restart the computer, NUM is still active!?!
I can also neither switch SHIFTLOCK on nor off...
Am I doing something wrong???

I use version "USB Edition 5.09.00b2"

Peter, thank you very much!!!

You have removed UPDATE FIRMWARE and unfortunately the update mode cannot be forced via the TTL-USB converter when switching to 1200bps.

On my small computer, the BOOT button is unfortunately not accessible from the outside (the display is in the way). Do you know of any other way to force the update mode? Is there perhaps a POKE or something similar?

Frank

On the USB versions you have to use the BOOT button - no other way. Because the USB port is in host mode nothing else will work.
