I was incorrectly sent a H753Z1 about 12 months ago, I had managed to get hold of 3 H743Z12 and this was one of the boards that arrived. I never bothered trying it. Found it the other day and just for fun, I loaded the latest code H7 update into it and loaded a large program, it worked. Wonder if anyone has used these, a quick compassion only mentioned Cryptography on the H753, another site showed it as an option to the H743. Board looks identical? I remember seeing these available when the H743 was impossible to get? Just putting it out there before I waste time going any further with it. It's all too hard. Mike. |

Maybe ZI (zed eye) not Z1 (sed one). Such as NUCLEO with STM32H753ZI I think the CPU will be STM32H743ZIT6 Z=144-pin, I=2MB flash, T=LQFP John Edited 2024-02-07 19:04 by JohnS |

This is from Mouser here in AU. Mouser FYI : The Board I have is NUH753ZI$AT3 I'll do more testing when I get a chance, like most of us, I have so many things on the go at the moment, and these days it takes me a week to do what I did in a day  Just had another look at the H753 and H743 boards. They look identical in every way, every link is the same, both boards have MB1-1364E in the bottom screen overlay. The only difference on the bottom is H74 is replaced by H75. A lot of outlets still show very little or Zero stock of the H743Z12, whereas the H753ZI numbers are in the hundreds. It would be nice if it was fully compatible. Uploaded a large photo of an old H743 and newer H753. Just looks like a CPU change.  It's all too hard. Mike. |

Yes I believe so in this context. I haven't looked at chip availability from the manufacture as yet, I would expect them to be marked as obsolete by now if they are being discontinued. FYI, I'm still playing around when I get time, I have to add an LCD to really test the board, but so far every non graphic program works, Keyboard and console are perfect. My only dislike with the development board is having to set all the links on a new board, and having to remove the existing Sockets in some cases. Also having to fit a backpack PCB to use an LCD in 16 bit, and then fitting an LCD adapter board when using a 9" LCD, which is mainly what I use. But it's worth for the speed and IO capabilities of this board, dam it's nice. . It's all too hard. Mike. |

Yes, the NUCLEO-H753ZI (NUH753ZI$AT3) are in plentiful supply and are a current product.   This is the board I'm testing. . It's all too hard. Mike. |
