Good video! :) Unfortunately, by the time you've included the new PSU and cooler (probably obligatory if you want to get any real work out of it) then the price is going to be far closer to £100 (if not more) than £80. I dont know if they are technically still state-of-the-art. for ~120€ you can buy a refurbished Lenovo ThinkCentre M700 Tiny With Power suply, Case , i5-6500T, 8 GB ,240 GB SSD,Win 10 Pro. this is cheaper than the PI, where you have to buy housing, power supply and external memory 'no comment |

Apparently The Register have played with a Pi 5 and, without a cooler, couldn't get it to run hotter than 80C. The chip is more efficient so a cooler may not always be needed. rpi 400 is not as good as an optiplex £80 mini pc same for rpi 5. alternatives for price and not linux. I think a refurb lenovo or dell better. ok it's a small board but add kb, mouse, psu and monitor |
