Same here AE has done well by me. I had $480 E-Bike battery not show up. The seller said it was delivered. AE checked and saw the battery never left China. Sell still would not refund so AE did. Also a few boards not what the sellers claimed AE got me the refunds. Quazee137 nice that the data is being saved.  |

I think batteries are among the likeliest items to be scams. I've had 5 12V and 24V batteries not show up--and have gotten refunds. For one, seller claimed it had been delivered, but tracking didn't show that it had ever left China. I've also had several of them delivered successfully--and am happy with them despite that fact that they have significantly overclaimed the capacity (as I expected). I don't buy a lot from AE but have had to get refunds sometimes - always successful so far. I had to wait ages for the last item to fail to show up & then a bit longer for the refund, overall a bit of a pain but it all worked. John |

I use ebay. Sellers don't want bad reviews so never had problems with refunds. It may say "buyer pays return postage" but never had to. Not had many problems with ebay products. |

UK law means a UK seller can't make you pay return postage when an item is faulty. When someone tried to be awkward I hunted around ebay's site to get a return shipping label (free). They were fake SD cards, so didn't make sense for them to get them back let alone them having to pay the postage. John |

Yes. The 2TB usb , the guy said don't return and please don't give a bad review. most people won't realise the memory is a scam until to late to return, 30 days I think. stan |

If it is possible to connect with a plug you could work as follows: 1. Plugin the plug 2. Seal with some glue arround the plug. Because you do not want superglue between the contacts. 3. Wait a little until a skin is on top of the glue. 4. Put some baking soda on top and drop one drop superglue on it. The superglue will harden in a second. 5. Now continue to glue layer by layer. If you feel the gluing is stable enough, turn your device step by step and work like before. Gregor |

or cigarette ash, I got a UV laser with some super glue I ordered, to cure it. fixing this is not easy so don't bother. life's too short. epoxy 2 part glue would be better for permanent. hot glue can be good and melted later to remove |

Yes, I plan to use 2-part epoxy glue. I have used this before in the past, and it sets rock-hard if you don't disturb it while it cures. I successfully copied all 700GB off the drive into one of my NAS boxes for now. As only USB2 speed, that took a while.... Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
