Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Pricey, but even MMBasic for DOS could be used with this method: PicoMite as a serial client PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |

I said it was interesting, I did not say I would buy one at that price. @ Mick - I can't stand YT ads at all. You need to get yourself an ad-blocker, then ALL the YT ads will never pester you again. I use Adblock Plus. It is free. Just search for it. It can be added to pretty much any modern browser, and then you can enjoy any YT videos completely ad-free. Smoke makes things work. Hello, This SBC board you are talking about seems a bit expensive to me, as mentioned above. I have x86 boards, like the LettePanda, but the best alternative by far are any refurbished Lenovo ThinkCentre, like the M900, which for about 190 euros (here in Spain) has a 6th generation i5, 8 Gb RAM expandable and a 240 Gb SSD. These superb and durable mini-PCs from Lenovo are a replacement for all those SBC boards, including the currently inaccessible Raspberry Pi, for any application, web servers, multimedia, etc. If you want GPIO access there are solutions like the Adafruit FT232H. I have one with Linux Mint and it gives excellent performance. |
