Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Every time I visit this site I have to login again, I have ticked the 'remember me' box, anyone else finding this. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

That has never worked for me. I copy & paste from a text file to save typing PW every time. |

No problems here. Occasionally, when FireFox does an update, I might have to log in again but FF is set to remember the details so only one extra click. Jim VK7JH MMedit MMBasic Help |

No problems with having to log in again--but I never close the window that is open to thebackshed, and never power off unless Windows Update forces me to. If I open a new window to search for something, it still knows who I am. Do you have a setting for no cookies? That might cause what you are seeing. I stay logged in all the time - no problems. I agree with lizby - check your cookie settings. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

I use Chrome and I did just recently set it to delete browsing history on exit. I will look into it. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |
