Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

OK, pet peeve, RAR files! RAR is like ZIP, it's a way to compress files. It has some nice features, but it's not natively supported on Windows PC's, you need to download and install a program to open a RAR file. ZIP however is natively supported on Windows PC's since XP, and most other OS's like Linus and Apple. You dont need to download and install a program to use ZIP files. If you upload a file to share, use ZIP, not RAR. Most people can not open a RAR file unless they download and install WinRAR or somthing like that. RAR = some people can open it, most cant. ZIP = just about everyone can open it. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |
