Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi everyone

I've turned on the forums Private Messenger service on a trial basis. The service will let forum members send messages to each other.

In the past members could contact eachother using the Email button on the members profile page, but this can be unreliable due to internet spam filters.

When you visit the forum, the Private Messager will notify you if you have messages, and you can have up to 25 messages in your In Box at one time, so its a good idea to clear out your messages as soon as you have read them.

You can see the Private Messenger link at the top of the page between Help and Settings.

Please try to keep messages basic, like "Whats your phone number?" or "My home address is blah blah.". If its a generic question, please post it as a normal thread instead, so others can bennefit from the answer. If there are any problems, let me know. This is a trial so we'll see how it goes.

This is a great idea; I love mail.

I know that bit about opening one's mouth and removing all doubt, but I can't seem to figure out how to send a message, so I guess I'll be the first to ask for directions.

Hey, someone has to go first, right?

How do I send a Private Message ?
