Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Predicted storms in the area for the next couple of days, so the server ( this web site ) may be shut down from time to time while they pass. As a rule, once the lightning is closer than a few km I will shut down the server as a precaution. This may mean, if you are writting a post, and go to save it, your post could be lost as the server was not online. Its always a good idea to write long posts into Notepad first, then copy/paste it into the forum, add pictures, etc. Nothing worse than loosing a long post, been there, done that. These things (loosing long articles or comments) happens some times on Google, Facebook, Blogger, other forums, etc. so, nothing to blame. Internet users ("Internauts") would have had to learn the lesson so far. Vasi Hobbit name: Togo Toadfoot of Frogmorton Elvish name: Mablung Miriel Beyound Arduino Lang |

I type out all my posts using MS word or open office writer. As I can’t spell to save my life I use these word processors for the spell check function. And I’ve also lost a post or two in the past, so cut and paste works well! Its easier to ask forgiveness than to seek permission! ............VK6MRG.............VK3MGR............ |
