Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Tony has been most obvious by his absence here of late. Anyone been in contact and know if he's all right? Place isn't the same without him around. |

I've sent him a email. I did block Bob's account a few weeks ago after several complaints, but I didnt block any other accounts. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

He was very very upset by that Glenn. I think you blocked the wrong guy, should have blocked that come lately Steele guy who caused the trouble in the first place. Anyway, Tony told me he is not coming back. He's OK, I can get my transformer/ warpinverter problems analyzed by private email but the rest of you miss out. Davo99, you can thank Glenn for that, blocking a prolific poster of very useful information to many. |

Just to be clear, I did not block Tony's account. I have never blocked Tony's account, had no reason to. His account is active, and as far as I know there is no reason he cant log in and post messages as usual. I did block Bob's account. I repeat, I did NOT block Tony's account. Is that clear? Yes it is now Glenn, thanks for clarifying that. Tony is still upset about whatever he was told and is unlikely to come back. |

I hope he will reconsider. There are a lot of very knowledgeable and helpful people here but Tony is definitely a lynch pin of this site and an incredibly helpful gentleman as well. I hope he will continue to take pity on the Dilettantes like me and and benefit and help us with his incredible Knowledge. It would be a HUGE loss for the place and the members not to have him here. |

Agreed. I was never really into inverters that much, but many of the threads that he started, were truly fascinating and very interesting to read, along with all the photos etc. I too, hope he comes back. It would seem he was not banned, so I don't know why he can't get back in, but I am sure that admin could reset his password if that was the issue somehow/someway, then he could reset it again himself. Sometimes, odd things do seem to happen. I'm sure we have ALL had times, where for whatever reason, our logon details for site X don't work, and we KNOW they are correct. Either the site is doing maintenance or perhaps there is simply an issue with the password where admin need to step in and reset it. That should never be taken as a personal slight - sometimes feces occurs. Please, Tony, if you ever read this - do reconsider coming back. A talent like yours needs to be harnessed. Yes . I will certainly miss Warpspeed on here. A very intelligent person with fantastic instant knowledge. In a private mail with 'Oztules', John said to me, "that 'Warpspeed' really does know what he is talking about, just you take notes what he says". Thanks Tony for you help and inspiration in the past. Everything is possible, just give me time. 3 HughP's 3.7m Wind T's (14 years). 5kW PV on 3 Trackers, (10 yrs). 21kW PV AC coupled SH GTI's.
