Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Yes phones take pictures that are too large for the forum. Here are instructions on resizing them before you upload them. http://www.thebackshed.com/forum/help.asp#FAQ19 Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

I take it the last line of your post should NOT be considered part of the instructions then???? Yes phones take pictures that are too large for the forum. Thanks Guys, I,ll give it another shot .. be nice ,not just for me, if there was a magic link on the main page that sizes the pic to suit backshed requirements. sort of like ipad has ,it sizes auto ,but you can elect to have one of three sizes. but it only does it for e-mails . Thanks again Bruce PS. I tried that link ,not working for me ,might be my laptop ,she,s been playing up lately Bushboy |

Send an email off to Microsoft for not providing a resize before upload function in their Os, and Apple for making such a crappy phone. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

Link didnt open or the method described didnt work? If it didnt open, it wasnt an actual link, you would have to copy/paste it into a new window or click HERE |

Another handy way to resize and host pics for the forums is https://postimages.org/ upload pics here just bookmark that link and when you need to resize a pic go there and upload the pic from your computer, selecting size from the list (from 100x75 up to 1600x1200 or leave it the same size)- default is 640x 480 below you can select the time its available (1 day up to indefinite) it gives you a link (which gives you the standard hyperlink) or if you use the next selection (direct link) gives you the link that inserted in the forums 'add image' button (green tree button up the top of the posting window) gives a picture eg link https://postimg.org/image/6z9jfm2b7/ direct link inserted in add image tag |
