Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Anyone got a spare LG stator winding they are not going to use as I started building a Turbine with one and it got damaged when I had a fire in my shed several years ago, to far gone to rewind.I have seen several stator's since but not as big as the one I have.
I have gone to the trouble of fitting neo magnets to the rotor so it is worth persisting with if I can get another stator.

All the best

Hi Bob ,

Thanks for the nice thoughts,re my "Hosspiddle" stay ..

Yes, I think I have a untouched one or the modified one in the picture posted in the next topic.

You are most welcome to either .

I would like to see the results of the Neo conversion ,as I intended to do this ,but got sidetracked .

My neo F&P was very successful, still have it but one word of warning to all, re F&P rotors.

These rotors are weak in the spline ,remember, they are only plastic ,and with the removal and fitting while experimenting they do wear considerably .. The LG can be retrofitted with a machined metal spline, as it's original spline is removable .

I do think LG's will be a better all round producer, but none has yet perservered with them ,same as the Sealy ,although Oztules(John) did a lot of work - Thanks John.

Bob ,how about you come on down one day and we'll chew the fat and you can select what you require ..

Hi bruce

Thank you very much for that, I really appreciate it, I will bring the rotor to show you when I come, will be several weeks before I can make it as I too am getting over a botched medical intervention and am just getting going again, I did some testing on the LG and posted it several years ago i will look it up and repost it for general information, I think from memory it ws doing around 700 watts as set up in the lathe.

I will contact you on PM and make arrangements for visit next week.

All the best

Bob
