Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

In order to control power I will just use solar panel that will not be able to damage Peltier devices
For 2 devices I have I plan to use 40W panel (21V open circuit)

There will be no battery for now, so Sun intensity and availability will do all the subtle and sudden changes.
Hope this will be easily handled by Peltiers.

Noticed that Peltier cooling devices are sold under numbers:

TEC-12706
TEC-12705
TEC-12703

Cannot work out what is the difference between them?

Did you google this number??
I just did and immediately saw they draw different currents. Perhaps print out the spec sheet for each and compare, easier than doing on screen.
