Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Bruce. I found you really need a 5 year old to make these techo things to work properly. Unfortunately, my kids are all much older than that, so no help at all... Don't poo poo conspiracy theories. Remember that everything ever discovered started somewhere as a theory. |

I just tried to post a test pic above and it workd as normal. You need to use the image upload button above. Then use the browse button to select you photo from your computer file. Click OK and you should get a message to be patient while the file uploads to the server, click OK...... wait and ......wait......and wait..... The server has been very slow for me of late to the point i crash out and give up on waiting for pages to load, so perhaps thats the problem for you too, even this post got hung up waiting for the image upload window to open. Often upload problems can be caused by the size of the photo file being used, and with todays cameras the file can be massive in size and the forum might reject it or take forever to upload it, as there is a 1000kb file limit allowed for this forum, and most photos can be up into the mega bytes nowdays. I usually open the photo in "Paint" and use "resize" and reduce the image to around 40%, then use "Save As" and save the photo to the same name and add "small" to the file name, this way i keep the large file and a smaller file of the same photo. The small file is the one i use to upload to the forum. I hope that helps you. Pete. Sometimes it just works |
