Sorry fellaz! Can we go back to Swedish women again? I have not caught up yet on the after posts..... Decent Swedish women! It is that good right.... that one of them, is named - Fanny Blome! No Bull! Great isn't it!? Where were we again? We were getting Swedish women with mangoes, to generate electricity by removing skantilly clad clothing made of nylon, that creates static, then we harness it (the woman), for our own needs, and it is free. Something like that wasn't it? Then someone said the more static generated the harder it got, and we should be working closely with them. Sounds about right to me! Surely that is a million dollar idea right there.... Also forgot to ask.... Can a bolt of lightning be caught and stored in a battery? Or can a bolt of lightning just instantly charge a battery, or be captured, and the power held and thrown into a trickle charge? Only with a kite and a key. Just a tip......... Swedish mangoes are for admiring and not for practical use, was it not the fruit of the mango that got Adam into trouble? Sometimes it just works |

Yeah.... buying stuff on the internet and having to wait for shipping? Pffft... Someone needs to invent the internet teleporter. So if you buy something from me on ebay, once you have give me the cash, I can put the item in an enclosed type dome shaped room thing (teleporter). I then just plug the usb into my pc (Definte it would run on USB 3.0), and teleport it over the internet to you! It then appears in your teleporter dome room thing at your end. Make sure you buy one of these teleporters before making a purchase, otherwise it will be like not having a post box at your house sorta style. Copywrite - Lapsy Jan 2nd 2038. P.S You could even use it for commuting I guess! Off to Sweden we go! Yaye! This is my signature ---> Scribble, scrawl, a bit of light pencil shading, some indelable ink and a bit of caligraphy. |

Aussie Lutek Rocks! Great invention. Maybe that is the one I have heard of!? Bet thats been supressed technology for ages before local blokes worked it out! Makes you wonder about the time when they decided, AC power was the chosen power for rollout to the the general population. Maybe someone knew something about something about DC that got swept under the carpet, into a trapdoor, down a metal chute into a safe surrounded by concrete and water and electricity and certain death or something where it took your head off if you leaned in for a look. Top Secret! I always thought it was possible that the blocks that built the pyramids were moved by magnets. By this I men two opposing magnets that cant be pushed together, keeping the block elevated. Then again... how do you get the block ontop of the magnet so you can then push it with your little finger? Bit like power steering! If anyone wants to fill their brain with some interesting stuff that will keep your mind wondering, I highly recommend the History Channel Doco called Ancient Aliens. Definate show everyone should watch once just to tingle the minds thoughts. The secret of Oak Island still stumps me when I think about it! Its not such a silly point of view, but perhaps not quite the star trek view you painted. Think of it like this ....... in the near futere we will all have 3D printers, just like we all have a PC and printer of today. So all you will do is purchase the product off Ebay and then 3D print it out. You think im kidding, im not! you wait and see, i bet my 3D printer theory is far closer than the teleporter. Sometimes it just works |

Thanks for the tip on the cap doubler, looks like a much simpler thing to implement compared to the joule thief or mppt. As kind of an afterthought, supposing you were using a DC wind generator or solar panel, have any of you tried a charge pump to boost their output when necessary? Not to derail this thread from where its going... |

Perhaps we better cool it a bit. There is nothing that pisses an ancient alien civilisation off more than telling the world about their "catching lightning in a box to build pyramids" technology. They might get upset and pull the plug on ALL alien tech. What will we do without roofhandles, klevashears, ezyline, the sock thingy? I used to think MPPT and charge pumps were mandatory to squeeze the very last bit of energy out. Now, I look at things a lot differently, I think most of us are massive energy hypocrite's. With a tiny bit of lateral thinking and pride swallowing "when necessary" soon becomes never! The cap mods are great, they increase the flexibility of a low cost design that has obvious limitations. I'm confused, no wait... maybe I'm not... |

There is another aspect that relates to mocking such claims. Back in the 70`s whilst studying Refrig.Principles, I was taken by "reverse" refrigeration, but on speaking to "knowledgable" asscociates the principle was immediately scoffed at. Those associates were quoting you cannot get more out than you put in. Without considering atmospheric heat, "reverse" refrigeration does just that. Todays hot water heat pumps show the efficiency of this principle. 3D printing is already here. We come from the land downunder. Vic |

Have seen the 3D printer also! Good invention but the problem is... Do I still have to go to Sweden or can it bring Sweden to me? 3D print me a pizza. I'm hungry and I ordered it online from Dominoes at least 30 seconds ago... This is my signature ---> Scribble, scrawl, a bit of light pencil shading, some indelable ink and a bit of caligraphy. |

Why would you want to 3D print a Volvo..........Eva. Because it has been filled with Sweedish mangoes. This is my signature ---> Scribble, scrawl, a bit of light pencil shading, some indelable ink and a bit of caligraphy. |

True! O.K then..... So... Where to from here? Probably just about destroyed this thread. Although, just an afterthought.... recently read an article about 3D printers pressing records. That would be pretty cool along with most other things like car parts e.c.t.... ............................................? O.K more laughs all round then! Have to think of something left field for you all first....
