Nice bike Sonny Yeah Vasi I do like the Vespa's, its a classic shape. My Dad has a Adler. The Adler is a German made bike, and pretty advanced for its time. He has a web site about it. http://www.adlermotorcycles.com/ Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

Yeah Karl, warm air those are for cold weather riding. Those vents come right off the top of the engine. It's a flat apposed 6 cylinder, 1520 CC Gizmo, that thing looks just like the old Jawas' I had one of those when I was a kid. A 250 two stroke. I also had an old NSU from Germany, 35 MPH wide open. I like the old Vespa where the head light was just below the handle bars. with those head lights on the fender it's not going to be much good at night unless you are on a very smooth road. a complete novice |
In my opinion, the most beautiful scooter in the world. If this is true (and I believe it just might be), I ride the ugliest bike ever made, a BMW (boxer twin). One nice thing about riding a Beamer is folks leave it alone. I've never had anything stolen off it. Most folks just look at it and wrinkle their lips while asking, "What's that?" . . . . . Then maybe you like this one, Vespa GTS 250: Here, in a nice angle: These are light scooters for towns (where you have smooth roads), small wheels, lower fuel consumption. Some how, they are in the Renewable energy spirit or at least, good candidates because can be easly converted to electric scooters.
If this is true (and I believe it just might be), I ride the ugliest bike ever made, a BMW (boxer twin).
Not true Mac, Those old BMW's are some of the best engineered bikes ever made and in my opinion the old boxers are the bikes most people think of when someone mentions motorcycles. I do get a good laugh when I see one of the bikes the Russians make from the dies and engineering that they stole from BMW after WW11. They are such a joke but have become popular here in the states in the last few years. a complete novice |

This web link is slow but worth a look. Vasi; I'm in agreement The Vespa is a pleasing design as well as being a reliable Ride. Harley Gets the Nod. Time has proven that I am blind to the Obvious, some of the above may be True? |

Hi Greenbelt, Thank you for images, nice modding for both but Harley shines in this area. Vespa is good as is. Here another modification but still not as pretty as the original, in my opinion. Vasi Hobbit name: Togo Toadfoot of Frogmorton Elvish name: Mablung Miriel Beyound Arduino Lang |
