Sewerage rates......about $2000 a year
Garbage removal fees .............$1200 a year
Sun Water licences..............from any water source even your own dams.
Levies on livestock sales .......$30 per beast
Council rates ..........about $4000 on a normal house
Car Rego & 3rd party Insurance ...about $1000 per car
Petrol Taxes ...................60% of the cost. Presently $1.90 a litre
Most of the Lotto income
Poker Machine Levies
Alchohol duties.....about 150% on wines and spirits.
Import duties on incoming
Export duties on outgoing.
Radio Station Licences
Drivers Licence
Shooters Licence
Police Fines ...............$2000 if the photo a mobile on your lap in the car.
They bleed the Superannuation funds too with tax on money paid into the fund.
and the big one Health Costs ,Hospital fees.
I want a knee replaced . $4,000 Doctor ,$2,000 anesthetist, $20,000 to $30,000 hospital bed !
All of those are controlled by and feed into the coffers of the Queensland State Government.
Oh that's after paying 50% tax on my Income to the Federal Government and a 10% GST on everything I buy with any dollars left over I can manage to keep.
There are more but I can't think at the moment in case they start taxing that.
HOW MUCH ARE YOU GOING TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH ?

This was written back in the 60's, and still holds true today.
Although, probably worse.
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

Hey man it's not much better here in Texas and the other 49 Lesser States, Home Prices have Sky Rocketed since the China Attack, Property Taxes this year work out to about $800 a month or about what our mortgage was in 1888. and this embarrassment with Alzheimer's running things my income was slashed by 1/3 and Gas cost twice as much!
